The Verisium generative AI layer, which automates parts of the chip verification flow, is already shortening customer design cycles and increasing seat stickiness. If Cadence executes on its current trajectory, it enters 2028 as a company that has meaningfully transcended the traditional EDA duopoly framing (Cadence plus Synopsys) and become a broader computational design platform.
